Larry James Cooper, age 70, passed away July 16, 2025 in Springfield, Missouri. Born July 26, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clanton and Eunice Cooper.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Clanton and Eunice Cooper, and brother-in-law, Huck Lane.
He is survived by three children, LJ Cooper, Justin Cooper, and Chad Cooper; siblings, Carol Lane and Clinton Cooper; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Dakota, Padrik, Adreanna, Alyssa, and Dayllyn; and great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Bristol, Opal, Ember, Enzlee, Amara, Evangline, Waylon, and Presley.
Larry enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, cooking, watching Nascar, picking on his grandkids, and great-grandkids, and getting ice cream for the grandkids and great-grandkids from Schwan’s. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial visitation will take place Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Fox Funeral Home.
