Obituary of Delta Keeney Krewson

Delta Krewson Delta Krewson was born March 23rd, 1917 to Robert and Lavenia (Reed) Keeney at the Keeney Farm in Prescott, MO. She passed away October 2nd at the Licking Park Manor Nursing Home in Licking, MO. Delta was married to Delmus Eugene (Gene) Krewson on December the 24th 1936. To this union two children were born, Delma Jean and Terence Weslie (Terry) Krewson. Shortly after they married they moved to Oregon where Delta worked welding WWII ships. A few years later she and Gene loaded the two children and one truck into the car and headed back to Missouri. They purchased the Licking Sale Barn where she worked with her husband for many years. Delta also worked at the Bank of Raymondville and Nickels Pallet Mill. Delta accepted Jesus as her Savior early in life and was faithful working in the church doing what she could as long as her health permitted. Delta enjoyed gardening, music, camping and traveling. She loved cooking and entertaining family and friends. She will be remembered for her summer cookouts and Christmas Eve gatherings. She was preceded in death by her daughter Delma Jean Roper, husband Gene and all her siblings. She will be missed by her son Terry and wife Bobbie of Licking, MO; six grandchildren Terry and Tim Morrison of Licking, MO, Coy and Christina Holt of Strasburg, VA, Leslie and Brad Richardson of Licking, MO, Donna and Steve Hall of Licking, MO, Debbie James of Houston, MO and Tracy and Gary Brown of Springdale, AR; 12 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
