Wesley Darrell Hall, son of the Late Wesley and Alberta (Good) Hall
died Monday, 23 Dec 2013 at age 70 at his home near Edgar Springs, Missouri from a lengthy illness.
Wesley was born in Ainsworth, Nebraska, on 19 July 1943. He joined the Air Force in 1960, at the age of 17 and began his career as an Air Force Pilot. His time in the service was cut short by an injury sustained while stationed in Vietnam, Cambodia area.
Wesley worked for a time for Cessna in Kansas then moved to Missouri where he started a career driving semis.
Wesley was united in marriage to Maxine Davis on January 7, 2000 at Hopewell Baptist Church Big Piney Missouri.
Wesley retired on May 13, 2005.
Wesley loved hunting, fishing, play his harmonica, singing and telling corny jokes.
Wesley will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Maxine (Davis) Hall of the home; two of three sons from a previous marriage, David D. Hall of Colorado Springs, Colorado and his wife Beckey and John and Terri Hall of Pittsburg, Kansas; four granddaughters, Kimberly (Hall) Olivella and husband Greg from Arkansas, Kaitlin Hall, Doris Carroll and Kaycee Velie all of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; three sisters, Nora Smith of Klamathfalls, Oregon, Alberta (PeeWee) Persons of Des Moines, Iowa and Nadine Irwin of Ainsworth, Nebraska; one brother, Charles Irwin of Ainsworth, Nebraska;
sisters- in- law, Mildred Stout of Falcon Missouri, Margie Holder and husband John of Centerton, Arkansas; brother- in- law, Clyde Davis of Waynesville, Missouri; father- in- law and mother- in- law, Marvin and Mable Davis
of Plato, Missouri; extended family Dick Clark & Bob Clark of Kansas and Jerry and Judy Sapp of Rayville, Louisiana.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, James Darrel Hall; four brothers and a sister.
