Raymond Zeno Wells, 74, son of Zeno Wells and Alberta G. (Wofford) Wells was born May 4, 1940 at Turtle, Missouri and passed away October 21, 2014 at his home in Licking, Missouri.
Raymond attended Highland and Bunker High Schools and then graduated from Salem High School in 1957.
He married Joan Beasley November 21, 1959 and to this union, one son was born, Michael Ray.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; his parents and a brother, Donald.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Joan of the home; his brother, Carol and his wife, Margaret; a brother-in-law, Gern Beasley; four sisters-in-law, Connie Wells, Carole Bailey, Katherine Bennett and Wanda Booker; an Uncle, Stony Wofford and his wife, Shirley; an Aunt, Pearl Wells; and a host of nieces, nephews , relatives and friends.
He accepted Christ as his Savior in 1974. He attended Boone Creek Baptist Church faithfully until his death.
Raymond was a truck driver by trade, working for many different companies such as Smith Bros., Rees Trucking, Sam and Carrie Gifford, Eddie Evans, Storm Trucking and several others throughout the years.
He enjoyed farming and the outdoors, riding horses, and hanging around the sale barns. Raymond loved kids and enjoyed being with his family
