Arthur D. Johnson 90, entered heaven's gate on Sunday, December 27,2015.
Arthur son of the late James Benjamin Johnson and Esther {Boardman} Johnson was born July 30, 1925,
In Bell City, AR. He was the second eldest of six brothers and sisters.
July 10, 1948, in Heber Springs, AR Arthur married the love of his life, Lorene {Davidson-Breedlove}
Johnson. They were married for 65 years. They moved to Missouri in 1950 and to Licking in 1955
where they raised their two children Gene and Brenda.
Arthur's working career extended over many years of hard manual labor. He worked In the timber
business for several years and as a truck driver for numerous employers. Even after retirement Arthur
didn't stop, he was always working. He had a rich rewarding life but it was also a hard life but he never complained.
The first two to meet him at the gates of heaven were his beloved wife Lorene and beloved son Gene.
How wonderful and joyful a meeting that must have been. Also there to meet him were his parents
James and Esther Johnson, Sister Irene Taylor (Otis), Ollie Spires (JW.), Sister-in-law Barbara Johnson,
Brother-In-laws Paul Maynard and Jay Osborne, Mother and Father-In-law Aron and Stella Breedlove,
two nieces, Beth Ann Osborne and Dena (Hildreth) Peterson.
His surviving family members are numerous. but mainly include his daughter Brenda Mitchell and
husband Jerry, grandson, Brad Mitchell and wife Nancy all of Washington, MO, granddaughter Jolev
(Mitchell) Michaelson and husband Todd, Tiburon, CA, eight great -grandchildren, Kelsey Mitchell,
Kersten Mitchell, Kamryn Mitchell, Cashel Michaelson~ Ascher Michaelson, Rosalie Michaelson,
Christian Michaelson and Caleb Michaelson, sisters, Naomi Maynard and Mary Verser, brothers, J.B.
Johnson and John Johnson, brothers and sisters -in-law, Alta Osborne, Jim and Kerma Breedlove, Pat
and Bill Hildreth, Charlene Jones, Shelby and Linda Breedlove one special cousin, Evelyn Towell,
numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
"Daddy, Popie, Arthur, Johnson, Uncle Johnson, Friend" - Rest for you are home, know that each of us
carries you in our heart and we look forward to seeing you again. We love and cherish you always.
