Randy Lee Jones was born January 16, 1957 in Houston, Missouri to Bob and Virginia Jones. He departed this life January 21, 2016, peacefully at the age of 59.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah; son, Travis; sister, Marilyn Cantrell and husband, Keith; niece, Tonya Huff and husband, Stanley as well as numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Virginia; grandparents, Amy and Everret Jones and Fred and Myrtle Berry; nephew, Bradley Cantrell and his beloved wife, Nina Creek-Jones.
Randy worked his entire life in law enforcement, including over 25 years with the Texas County Sheriffs Department.
His greatest love was his two children, Sarah and Travis.
Randy loved to spend time with his friends fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals at every chance he could. He was a great friend, brother, uncle and father and will be greatly missed. Everyone who came in contact with him couldn’t help but love him. His smile and laugh will be missed by everyone.
