Obituary of Robert Paul Rector

Robert Paul Rector was born January 27, 1958 in Farmington, Missouri to the late Thomas Rector and Helen Pursifull. He passed away in his home in Eugene, Oregon on August 2, 2016 at the age of 58. Bob is survived by his wife, Sandy; two sons, Robert Rector and Cory and his wife,Tina Rector; one step-daughter, Sarah; four grandchildren; his step-father, Eugene Pursifull of Raymondville, Missouri; brother, Daniel Rector and his wife, Sherry of Farmington, Missouri; sister, Marilyn Rogers and husband, Bruce of Licking, Missouri; brother, Tom Rector and wife, Charlida of Bucyrus, Missouri; sister, Janet Nicholson and husband, Mike of Fredericktown, Missouri; brother, Doug Pursifull and wife Kathrine and sisters, Susan and Theresa of St. Louis, Missouri. Bob served his country in the National Guards and worked many different jobs including over twelve years for the Department of Corrections. Bob loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He was a very good artist, but working with wood was his passion. He made a lot of beautiful pieces for his family that will always be cherished. He was loved very much by his family. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Rector and Helen Pursifull and a very special nephew, David Hahn.
