Obituary of Ruth C. Williams

Ruth (Craig) Williams, daughter of Thomas Craig and Viola (Hebblethwaite) Craig, was born May 18, 1932 in Licking, MO. At the age of 84, she passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on August 13, 2016 at Licking Park Manor. On September 1, 1951 in Salem, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Wayne Williams and to this union were born five children: Naomi Ruth, Linda, Randy, Kevin and Robbie. In 1982, Ruth and Wayne opened their own business, W.W. Livestock Products where she spent much of her time. Ruth also cooked at the Licking Livestock Auction Cafe for many years. When she wasn't working, Ruth enjoyed getting to watch her young grandchildren. Ruth accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age. She was always active in church and all that knew her, know she loved the Lord. Preceding her in death were her parents, Tom and Viola; infant daughter, Naomi Ruth; granddaughter, Ashley; and great-granddaughter, Isabel. Ruth is survived by one daughter, Linda and husband John of Houston; three sons: Randy of Licking, Kevin and fiance Terri of Licking, and Robbie and wife Tina of Licking; nine grandchildren: Craig and wife Ashley, Trevor and wife Sarah, Heather and husband Lee, Stephanie, Wesley, Robert, Kim and Brad; and eight great-grandchildren: McKinley, Colby, Evander, Arianna, Wyatt, Morgin, Waylin and Riley. Ruth enjoyed reading, word searches, quilting, embroidery, and playing with her grandkids. Ruth's family meant a lot to her and they all brought great joy and pleasure to her life. She was a loving wife, great mother and a very special grandma. She was very dedicated to her family and her faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
