Obituary of Genevieve Johnson

Genevieve Johnson, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend was born April 25, 1928 in Woodriver, Illinois and passed on December 3, 2014 in Springfield, Missouri. Though her body succumbed, her spirit lives in the heart and memories of her friends, family and relatives. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Pala Johnson of Licking, MO., and her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Matthew Seiler of Sikeston, MO. She had many grandchildren and great- grandchildren whom she loved. Genevieve lived her life in the Licking/Beulah area which she always considered home. Her passion was to live her life on her farm and care for her farm animals. She knew many residents in the area and considered herself blessed that her friends and family helped her throughout her years. She was known by many as Granny.
