Born January 26, 1921 in Joliet, Illinois to Frank and Loretta Wyss. Elaine passed away in Edgar Springs, Missouri on February 26, 2013. Elaine was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad; two brothers, Wallace and Warren Wyss; and husband, John Westerveld. Left to mourn her passing are daughters, Valerie and Michael Spirz of Montgomery City, Missouri and Joann and Jessie Harrison of Edgar Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Jennifer (daughter of Jessie and Joann) and Tyler Mathis of Rolla, Missouri, David and Heather Spirz of St. Charles, Missouri, Heath Spirz of Grand Forks, North Dakota, (sons of Valerie and Michael Spirz); great grandchildren, Ella K. Mathis, Haley, Lauren, and Benjamin Spirz (children of David and Heather Spirz), and Ethan son of Heath Spirz; sister, Gloria Lipsey of Joliet, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews.
