Obituary of Mike Barnhart
Michael Alan Barnhart passed away at 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019.
Mike was born on January 25, 1963 in Ottawa, Kansas. Son of Larry Barnhart and Wanda Fowler. He was a passionate horticulturist and enjoyed landscaping. He was a member of Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church and Licking Christian Church.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Hamby of Licking, Missouri. He was a proud father of three sons- Joshua, Jacob, and Nicholas Barnhart and two stepchildren, Krystal Lawson-George and Robbie Lawson, all of St. Louis, Missouri. He had several brothers and sisters, James L., Kenneth, Joseph and William Hamby, Rhonda Fairman and Sandra Dent. He also leaves behind many friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his fathers, Larry Barnhart and James Hamby.
Mike will be remembered for this infectious smile and unwavering sense of humor. He enjoyed taking long walks and visiting with the patrons of Licking. He spent his spare time working outdoors and volunteering.

The Memorial Service to honor Mike's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church, 310 Walnut Street, Licking, MO 65542.
