Obituary of Mary Jo Melton

Mary Jo Hardester Melton was born in St. Louis, Mo on April 21, 1978 to Ronald Wayne Hardester Sr. and Velma Florene Gale Hardester. She was her Daddy's Sunshine. From an early age she dreamed of being a Mommy of three boys. Mary Jo passed away February 18, 2015 at the age of 36. Mary Jo married Alfred Lee Melton on December 17, 1994 in Beulah, Missouri. Together they welcomed three sons, Anthony Saxton Melton, Seth Riley Melton, and Aden Wayne Melton into their hearts. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Wayne Hardester Sr.; brother, Ronald Wayne Hardester Jr.; Maternal Grandparents, Artis and Mary Gale; Paternal Grandparents, Glen and Rose Whitlock; Great Grandpa, Elmer Marmon; and her special uncle, Harold Denver "Denny" Gale. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Melton; three sons, Anthony, Seth, and Aden; and her mother, Velma Hardester. Mary Jo's family was always her priority. She devoted her life to raising and caring for her three sons. Mary Jo enjoyed camping, riding motor cycles with her husband, family reunions, collecting trolls with Aden, watching Seth's soccer games, and traveling to Civil War reenactments with her son Anthony. Mary Jo's heart was full of generosity. She touched many lives in ways the Lord will only know.
