Joseph Louis Chapman, 85 years of age, was born on April 18, 1934 in St. Louis City to Joseph and Marcella Madge Chapman (O’Keefe) at home.
Joseph Chapman owned a construction company and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Moose Lodge.
Joseph was married to Lillie (Helms) Chapman on September 19, 1955. They had seven children, Joseph L. Chapman, Joseph F. Chapman, “Toni” Monje, Ronda Jo Chapman, Kelly O’Keith Chapman, Tina Chapman-Morrow, Joseph Phillip Chapman.
Joseph is survived by his children, Toni Monje, Ronda Jo Chapman, Tina Chapman-Morrow, Joseph Phillip Chapman; grandchildren, Tonya Holt, Joe Neal Tullis, Mickie Chapman, Shanon Bauer, Brittany Morrow-McCue, Karissa Morrow-Lefan, Dustin Morrow, and Tyler Morrow; and great grandchildren, Autumn Tullis, Somer Tullis, Madison Tullis, Hailey Tullis, Sean Michael Tullis, Mackenzie Atkins, Kiara Holt, Noah Holt, Athena Keys, Jacey Wallace, Ethan West, Avery West, Evin Morrow Green, Braydon LeFan, Kevin Richardson, Conray Richardson, James Bauer, Luke Bauer, Layla Morrow Felicity Snelling, Tara Sawyer-Freeman, Isobel McConnell-Sawyer, Tatem Singh, and Xander Elrod.
He is preceded in death by his wife Lillie (Helms) Chapman, Joseph L. Chapman, Joseph F. Chapman, Kelly O’Keith Chapman
Pallbearers are Lenny Morrow, Josh Eason, Kevin Eason, Dustin Morrow, and Eric Luebbert.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, April 3, 2020 from 11-6 PM at Fox Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St, Licking, MO 65542. Due to the COVID-19 guidelines set by the Governor and the CDC, only ten guests at a time will be allowed in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Chapman Cemetery, Hwy H., 2233 County Road 2160, Edgar Springs, MO 65462 at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital in memory of Joseph Chapman. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net; you may sign the guestbook online or contact the funeral home if you are unable to attend services and we will sign your name in the register book.
