Doyt Edsel Lusby, 82, of Beulah, MO passed away April 11, 2020. Doyt was born on October 22, 1937 in Camden, AR to Harlon and Edith (Garmany) Lusby.
Doyt retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class after 20 years of service to his country and was also a schoolteacher. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, and family gatherings. Doyt was a Freemason and was very active in the local Masonic lodge.
Doyt is survived by his daughter, Lydia Lavarnway of Magnolia, TX; sons, Jeff Lusby of Camden, AR and Michael Lusby of Rolla, MO; brother, Granvel Lusby of Camden, AR; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Per his wishes, Doyt will be cremated and laid to rest in the Licking Cemetery with his wife, Shirley Lusby. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Licking Cemetery. The service will include Military Honors and a Masonic Service.
