Obituary of Kenneth Skaggs

Kenneth Duarward Skaggs, age 78, passed away on July 1, 2020 in Licking, Missouri. Kenneth was born May 8, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Duarward and Gerline Skaggs. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Dianne Moore Skaggs of the home; daughters, Kristi Baker and husband David of Salem, Missouri, Traci Adams and husband Wes of Camdenton, Missouri, and Kendra Cantrell and husband Heath of Licking, Missouri; sister, Patsy Hudspeth; brothers, Clinton Skaggs and wife Ruth, and Stanley Skaggs and wife Linda; seven grandchildren, Haley Griffith, Hunter White, Brooke Adams, Matt Adams, Savanna Morgan, Levi Cantrell, and Noah Cantrell; and five great-grandchildren. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Martin; brother, Gary Skaggs; and brother-in-law, John Hudspeth. Ken was a sailor in the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War aboard the USS Oriskany in the Tonkin Gulf. He was a proud Mason and an exceptional man who never met a stranger. Ken was loved by all who knew him. A memorial service will take place Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Fox Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St., Licking, Missouri with full military honors as well as a Masonic service. A memorial visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
