Please share a memory of Vickie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Vickie Lynn Smith, 64, of Licking Missouri, passed away on August 7, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Vickie was born on March 21, 1956 in Houston Missouri to Victor and Elma Fern (Priddy) Jarrett. She had a sister, Betty, and a brother, Johnny.
Vickie was united in marriage to James Smith on February 14, 1976. They were married for 44 years and raised two wonderful children, Carrie, and James Jr.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Carrie Sullins and husband BJ of Virginia; son, James Jr. of Rolla; grandchildren, Ethan, Kylie, Kinsey, and Cordelia; and sister, Betty and husband John of Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vic and Fern; and brother, Johnny.
Vickie was a loving person that never knew a stranger. She enjoyed tending to her flowers in her front yard, going to yard sales, flea markets and thrift stores. She often gave most of her purchases away to friends and family; she always seemed to know who needed the treasures she had found. Vickie loved all animals but had a special place in her heart for her beloved Doberman’s. Vickie also had a fondness for Camaros, so much so that she would not drive any other car. Vickie was also a tremendous KISS fan. Her home was full of KISS memorabilia.
