Leona Smith, age 73, passed away on September 1, 2021 at home in Licking, Missouri. Leona was born on April 4, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Florence Trombly Sr.; as well as two brothers, Warren Trombly and Allen Trombly.
Leona is survived by her loving husband, Howard Smith of the home; one daughter, Alice Marie Williams and husband Temothy; three sons, Howard Smith Jr. and wife Liz, Edwin Smith and wife Theresa, and Kenneth Smith and wife Caren; and twenty-four grandchildren, Temothy, Charity, Isaac, Michael, Beth, Hattie, Gabriel, Matthew, Ruth, Karen, Vanessa, Leta, Elizabeth, Serena, David, Daniel, Kristin, Alexis, Justin, Kathy, Sammantha, Jessica, Christopher and Alexandra; three sisters, Alice Morgan, Luetta Butler, and Florence Meyers; and thirty-one great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial graveside service for Leona took place Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the home of Howard, Kenny and Caren Smith, 20693 Hwy VV, Licking, MO 65542 with a luncheon at Fox Fire Station, Licking, MO. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
