Obituary of Iva Dixon

Iva Elizabeth Jane Davis-Dixon was born Oct. 26, 1918. She went to be with our Lord on March 17, 2015. Thus making her age 96 years 4 months and 17 days. Iva was the youngest of the family of Frank and Lula Keeney-Davis. She had two brothers and three sisters. Iva married Barbee Dixon Jan 2, 1937 together they raised one daughter Rosalie Dixon Scott of rural Licking, Mo, and one son, Jim Dixon of Eolia, Mo. She spent her life at the farm on Dixon Road, grew up there and later she and Barbee bought the farm and raised their family at the same farm. Iva spent her life dedicate to her Lord, family and friends. Boone Creek Church was her place to worship from the day she was born. Her grandfather was a Charter member. Iva was preceded in death by her soul mate Barbee Dixon, her granddaughter Cindy Scott, Her parents, two brothers and three sisters. She leaves her daughter, Rosalie and husband Thomas Gene Scott of rural Licking, Her son, Jim Dixon and wife Fran Dixon of Eolia, Mo. Two grandson's, Jeff Scott of Licking,Mo, David Dixon and wife Dr. Annette Dixon of Clarksville, Mo, one granddaughter, Pamela Dixon Martin and husband Jeffery Martin of Eolia, Mo. Three great- grandson's, Paul Martinand wife Kaylah of Wentzville, Mo, Samuel Martin of Fort Worth, TX. and Lance Dixon of Clarksville, Mo., Four great-granddaughters, Chelsa Scott of Licking, Elizabeth and Emily Scott of Houston, Mo and Katherine Dixon of Clarksville, MO. Three great-great grandchildren, Blake and Gage also Elisa Martin. Her very special friends,, Jim and Sheri Ludan of rural Licking, nieces, nephews and many friends. Iva was a loving Wife, Mother and Granny. She loved her family and made each one feel they were special. She will be missed but her family celebrates her life and rejoices knowing she is happy in heaven.
