Karl Dean Swaringim, age 55, passed away May 9, 2024 at home in Licking, Missouri. Born December 23, 1968 in Farmington, Missouri to Kenneth and Reba Swaringim.
Karl is preceded in death by his mother, Reba Swaringim; and grandpa Henry Swaringim.
He is survived by wife Cathi Swaringim; daughter, Korina Swaringim; father, Kenneth Swaringim; sisters, Kathy (Jaye) Watson, Kimberly (Nick) Kepple, and Shakoda (Lance) Davis; brothers, Patrick (Reva) Swaringim and Cliff York; and grandmother, Luetta Swaringim.
Karl loved to bow hunt, play softball, coaching his daughter’s softball team for years, supporting our military, learning about history, seeing how
many times a month he could get thrown in Facebook jail, making moonshine, and watching The Simpson’s with his daughter. He especially loved spending time at home with his family.
A visitation for Karl will take place Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Boone Creek Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM on Saturday at Boone Creek Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may go to ALS.org in loving memory of Karl.
