Obituary of Patricia Leann Coats

Patricia Leann Coats was born September 6, 1959 and passed away October 18, 2024. She was the youngest of four children born to Lloyd and Marie (Haney) Jones. Preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers, Mike and Jerry. Her sister, Llonda Jones survives her. Pat married at a young age and had one son, James E. Coats. He gave her three grandchildren that she absolutely adored; Kayla, Levi, and Garrett. Her family continued to grow as she became a great-grandmother to Wyatt, Lester, Riggin, Cali, Adlelynn, Cassie, Quinn, and Laney. Her life was full with all the love that surrounded her. Although Pat spent several years out of state in New Mexico and Arizona, she always returned home to Missouri. Her last years were spent in a home off the main road out in the quiet country woods that she loved. She shared this serene setting with her longtime companion, Ray Thomas, until his passing in 2021. Patt will be missed by many others that she loved and that loved her including her nieces, nephew, extended family, and her childhood friends that shared the journey of life with her from adolescence to adulthood. A Celebration of Life will be held for Pat at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Fox Funeral Home in lieu of flowers.
