He went to be with the Lord June 13, 2015. Bill leaves behind his wife, Linda of the home; two children, Grant (Susan) of Republic, Missouri and Dawn (Rick) Davis of Rolla, Missouri; three grandchildren, David (Hillary) Holland of Dallas, Texas, Danielle Holland of Branson, Missouri and Kayla (Craig) Ramsey of Licking, Missouri; two sisters, Cathy (Lloyd) Lankford of Marthasville, Missouri and Jeannie Holland of Springfield, Missouri; three nephews, two nieces and a multitude of other family and friends. Bill married Linda Wall on December 21, 1963, they had been high school sweethearts. They moved to St. Charles, Missouri where he worked for McDonnell-Douglas for fifteen years and then moved to a farm in Edgar Springs in 1977 to do his favorite things, plowing the fields for corn and raising cattle and hogs. He loved to hunt and fish and to have his farming buddies stop by for coffee and cake in the afternoons. They moved from the farm because of heart trouble in 2000 to a smaller farm in Licking where he loved riding his four-wheeler, taking care of his yard, his chickens and his adopted grandchildren, Josie and Layney. Bill was a member of Boone Creek Baptist Church, he was an active Mason and Shriner and also the Eastern Star. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
